This might be one of the few times Garry Trudeau and his strip have clambered out of 1968 in the last, oh, 7 1/2 years.

If you want something consistently relevant, funny, and timely, try Chris Muir’s ‘Day by Day’ . Amongst others it features a liberal white hispanic woman living with a conservative black guy; a half-Japanese woman living with an Army Reserve guy; and many well-deserved pokes at politicians from both parties.

Check it out. Most of you won’t regret it.
