Bishop Miller’s discussion/interview with Sarah Hey on 31 July are extremely insightful and deep. How I wish we could take and apply his advice, even at this late stage. I pray the Archbishop of Canterbury and his fellow Primates and their staffs will listen and be moved to act upon Bishop Miller’s advice. His suggestion about a neutral and accepted person to quickly moderate the progress of promises made in various levels of interminable but, I suppose, necessary, meetings is especially wise and worthy of implementation. His comments about how different people receive and perceive apologies and use/understand words and terms were also wise and should be listened to. Thank you both for making this an excellent interview.
