My wife of 40 years, my daughter, my two grandchildren, my three brothers and a sister, and a life rich in experience and, I hope, in learning. Most of all, I am grateful to God for life itself.

A faithful CANA church to attend, and in particular one which has a Thanksgiving day mass.

This is a good thread to ask for prayers of healing for my brother Chic.  Chic had by-pass surgery last Friday.  The heart is doing great, but he has other problems that have set in.  I would ask that you not only pray for healing, but that you pray for him to come to the Lord.  Amen…...thank you

My wife is home from the hospital after major, emergency surgery.  And doing well.

My adult son, Eric, thanks to a bold, witnessing fellow iron worker, was brought to the Lord and baptized this past year.  God is good…all the time and I give thanks and praise to His Name.

Particularly for the birth of our first grandchild Kathryn Amalia Rightmyer Repoley, born Saturday November 22, to our daughter Sarai (Mrs. Willie) Repoley. Mother, child, father,and grandparents are doing well.

For the birth of my first Gr. Grandchild, Catherine, born September 11, 2008 Houston, Tx. just before the hurricane, which the family rode out in the hospital…..so much fun to watch my son and his wife become grandparents…..

At my age, one is thankful, really thankful, on being on the sunny side of the turf. And besides the usual things, I too am thankful for the birth of a new Anglican province in America.  Larry

And I must add this. The elves and I have had some rough passages and I suspect that Kendall gets tired of me - mind you, this is guessing - but I am thankful that this blog exists. I have checked many another and find that they leave my life and mind no better off than before I made their acquaintance - and many of them need to be deep sixed asap. But this blog is different and I am grateful.  Larry

It may be a touch trite, especially here, but I’m profoundly thankful for what the Holy Spirit has done in my life. There are some tremendously challenging aspects of that life, and I can hardly imagine how they would have proceeded ... absent the Lord.

For my cancer free wife, family, friends, brother and sisters, faithful bishops and you, my blogsphere compañero’s, that I’ve yet to meet. I hope to take care of that with many of you at Wheaton next week!

Our newest daughter, aged 6, brought home from China two months ago. She is filled with wonder and excitement. We were out driving a couple of nights ago. “Look, Daddy, look. Christmas house, Christmas house!” (She apparently have never seen Christmas lights before.)

All the little things, and very big things, that we take for granted daily!  This year I’m also VERY grateful for the soon expected birth of ACNA.  May it fulfill all the hope and promise that it brings.  May the Lord guide both its leaders and members with humility, patience, and good judgment.  And may the Lord bless you all richly!

I’m most thankful for having an opportunity to study the Bible a bit with my dad this Thanksgiving. He’s gone to church his whole life but I’m not sure if he’s ever really understood or personally excepted the message of the Gospel. I’m also excited about and thankful for the formation of the faithful North American Anglican Province.

I have so many things for which I am thankful to God that it is quite overwhelming.
