Praise and thanksgiving definitely are mentally healthy as well as being spiritual warfare.  Early exorcisms of St. Basil and St. John Chrysostom were full of praise and exaltation of Jesus Christ.  The devil cannot bear to hear the Name of Jesus Christ praised and glorified - it offends his pride and vanity and causes him to shriek, cover his ears and skedaddle.

Sound familiar?

They remind me of “the Firehouse Five,” and I do love Dixieland Jazz!
