The Mighty One, God the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth. Our God comes, he does not keep silence, before him is a devouring fire, round about him a mighty tempest.

Food for thought: not a quiet, passive sort of God, but an active, energetic, deeply disturbing and turn it all upside down God.  I used to think that He was the former and found in the peace and quiet.  Now I see Him at work in the latter.  Always calling, working, and building.  Exhausting but wonderful and endlessly patient, gentle and kind and ever Good.
