This is too horrible to contemplate. Reports of upwards of 500 people systematically killed. How can anyone defend the “peace-loving” and taught/received expression of Islam as practiced by these murderers?
As an aside, I am just counting down and watching for the outrage of those who look for injustice to condemn. A lot of energy will go towards perceived “outrages”, but we shall see if the justice loving progressives in TEC will speak up.

BTW: As of 3/9/10 at 8 PM I do not see the PB, et al responding, but ENS has a small article. Overshadowing that is a notice of the Nat Cat “Summit” with Muslims, including a March 21st bulletin insert to pass along to spin that Islam wants peace, ala Chane.

A very moving testimony from wonderful and courageous AB Ben Kwashi, for whom I have enormous admiration.

We give thanks for his and his congregations’ witness, and pray for their safety and that of the people of Jos in this time of danger.  May God preserve them and set his angels as a guard around them, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
