Complaints levelled at Anglican Bishop of Newcastle

Tensions within Newcastle's Anglican Diocese have deepened, stemming from a recommendation to defrock several Hunter priests.

Formal complaints have now been lodged against the city's Bishop.

Is this story worth decoding? I read the article and have only the vaguest idea of what it is about. Does it speak of $exual abuse or some other misbehavior? What is the competency of the Diocese’s Professional Standards Board? There must be a reason our host has posted the piece.
