Reid signals possible impending vote on White House deal

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (R-Nev.) instructed senators to stay close to the Capitol Sunday afternoon as a deal was being furiously negotiated among congressional leaders and President Obama.

I think it was telling that most Vegas bookies were giving very poor odds on the US Gov’t actually defaulting. Congress is going to milk this drama cow for all its worth.

Well, as it turned out, they did manage to squeak by and avoid catastrophe last night…...but not by much.  They still won’t look good to voters who trusted ‘em, and remember…...there’s another election on the way!
