I saw some of these earlier today. It’s part of the reason why I’m nervous about the idea of withdrawing aid or, as some have suggested, entirely withdrawing from the Muslim world. Whatever we do, we need to do it in a way that does not hurt these people or any friends we have in the region.

The rioters don’t represent a majority, either.  They just get most of the attention. I’ve been hearing that polls in Libya show the U.S. to be popular now for our role in the overthrow off the former regime.
