Even though he appears to be a little guy, I think he’s qualified to draw himself up to full stature in the face of the uber-libs and uber-cons and say, “You don’t scare me one bit!” and they’d better believe him! I would love to see him gain compliance from +KJS and some of the less-endearing Global South grumblies!

I wouldn’t, as the two things are mutually opposing, unless by “gain compliance” Teatime means kicking the TEC heretics out, in which case the “Global South grumblies” would no longer be resistant to being in the same organization as with those who clearly and publicly promote grossly heretical acts.

A number of other “grumblies” [by which I assume that Teatime means “those who believe that the Church should not allow people in leadership to promote and cheer on and enact grossly heretical practices”] would be no longer resistant either.

That’s the only way I can conceive that “grumblies” [sic] might be “compliant.”  Hopefully there will be no other way for Bishop Welby to “gain compliance” from us.
