A tongue-in-cheek Web site called Bush-Clinton Forever is already proposing Jeb Bush in 2017, Chelsea Clinton in 2025, Jeb Bush’s son George P. Bush in 2033, Chelsea Clinton’s husband in 2041 and George W. Bush’s daughter Jenna Bush from 2049-2057.

the theory is Clinton Bush alternating forever - so what about Barabra, the other Bush daughter? need to find a Clinton (maybe Chelsea’s child?) for after Jenna then Barbara would be next….. January 31, 9:44 am | [comment link] |

All kidding aside, though: if JEB did not suffer from being in the Bush family, he would be a formidable candidate this a fall. January 31, 10:20 am | [comment link] |

Chris, I was thinking the same thing. Lol! And you’re right Steve. If Jeb’s last name was “Smith” he might be the front runner. January 31, 10:40 am | [comment link] |

JEB decimated the Florida economy (I know—I know, he left a budget surplus when he left office, but that’s not the only inidcator) and the State Worker system—from which we are still recovering. If he were to run I doubt he’d get much support from Florida. January 31, 11:22 am | [comment link] |

Really? Most of my family lives in FL, and I did up until two years ago. The only people I know who don’t like Jeb hate anyone and everyone with either an (R) or “Bush” after their names. January 31, 12:03 pm | [comment link] |

Well, Andrew, I AM a Republican, vote republican, and was a State worker up until 5 years ago. I can state first-hand how his anti-State policies decimated the effectiveness of State agencies to do their jobs. Frankly, I can’t stand JEB or his destructive policies. The one thing he did do well was disaster management after the devestating hurricanes we had hit the state during his tenure as Governor. The only reason I voted for him was the people he was running against would have been 100 times WORSE then he. January 31, 4:02 pm | [comment link] |

Oh, I know you’re safely on my side Jim. That’s why I was puzzled. Granted, we have nearly no contact with state employees, so none of us really came across that angle. What do you think of Crist? January 31, 4:38 pm | [comment link] |
