Why even have a vote? The media has already called this election contest well before the candidates have even been formally made their respective party’s designated candidate for President. Let’s face it, elections are no longer about issues and planks in a platform, but rather political ideology, money and power. And where’s the discourse between candidates? The media even controls the so-called debates. (Oh, that’s right! They’re not really debates because the candidates aren’t allowed to engage in face to face interchange. “Please direct your comments to the Moderator.”)

I, for one, feel that this nation would be better served if a muzzle were placed on these pundits and their endless statistical projections. How much longer will they be allowed to call an election before citizens get to cast their vote?

Small wonder I, like many others, have become a cynical sideliner.

That’s not exactly news that the People’s Republic of Minnesota and Wisconsin which had a socialist congressman for years are “leaning Obama.” I will take notice when more moderate or conservative states start leaning Obama.
