This lady is somebody God has used in a mighty way. If you can run a marathon, you can accomplish almost anything. Training for a goal requires focus, discipline and dedication and there is a sense of self efficacy if one completes the goal. It usually means training with others also and this provides a support group. It is rather ironic that many running stores including the one here in Fresno collect our old running shoes and finishers “T” shirts to give to the homeless, so they already have most of their training equipment. Why not do as Nike says and “Go for it”. God bless her and her new found ministry.
