The bishop voted no on the contested resolutions, as did the laity. The clergy were split. Two of the delegation are candidates to be the next Bp. of Georgia. Nobody seems to be saying how they voted. Inquiring and discerning minds want to know.

This does not sound like the same General Convention that I followed. It seems to me like one side was very satisfied that is unless you believe that nothing was changed. There continues to be a disconnect between what is said and the votes that have been cast.

Keeping the sheep in the dark has been the tactic throughout the past 7 years.  Yet, Integrity has been given space in the Diocesan Newsletter while any objection has been shamed and silenced.  During the 2003 ‘listening process’ no Scripture was allowed to be quoted or cited. 
I know these people and I owe some letters…to the bishop, to my former rector and to a member who is very involved in the diocese…and maybe a few more.

The Faith and Power of God has been misrepresented, polluted, circumvented and quenched in the Diocese of Georgia.  It is not love to celebrate symptoms of trauma and deprivation of nurture…and to deny wounded people the freedom and peace that Christ died to give them.
Human eternal souls are being misled to destruction by counterfeits of love, truth and life.

Anathema to this horrible sin - what happened in Anaheim and is taking place in TEC and in these unorthodox dioceses is evil.

Willoughby+ has not said, so far as I know, but from reading his “reports” on the diocesan blog, I’m prepared to guess.

+Louttit’s letter is disappointing, but better than his last GC letter, and I am thankful that he voted as he did at GC. It is a shame that the clergy did not match the lay delegates. I think the clergy in the diocese is ... not over-orthodox.
