Church of Uganda Bishops are converging at Lweza conference center in Lweza along Entebbe road for a week long retreat to elect a new Archbishop.
The New Archbishop will replace the outgoing Archbishop Church of Uganda the Right Rev. Henry Luke Orombi .

Yes, in ecclesiastical terms, more adventures than Indiana Jones. Under his leadership the Anglican Church in Uganda appears to have steadied and put down stronger roots than it had before. Plus of course he has been very involved in ministry to the church in the west. Like our brother Cennydd, I pray that ++Henry will be blessed in retirement and that the Lord will raise up a worthy successor. I am encouraged by the way the Lord has recently provided successors to many of the great orthodox leaders.
