I am given to understand that approximately half of those signing are not native South Carolinians.  I confess I am not surprised.

I really could care less about them.  They are, now, not a part of the
Diocese of South Carolina.  But I can unreservedly say that they don’t like us by their actions.

I cannot comment on the specifics of the relationship between the chapel and the bishop and diocese. It does seem, however, that there would be less of a need for this “beacon of hope”, at least with regard to “remaining a part of TEC”, if members of the chapel were not pursuing a course which they knew full well was to end in effecting the separation that would give such a beacon purpose. It would seem to me that a far less self-serving approach to the “remaining” would be to work towards keeping the diocese part of the national church, rather than trying to drive it off.

The amazingly Christian thing is to bring up our Godly Bishop on charges.  Very Christian thing by some of your number.  Enjoy your cultural faith, though I cannot call it a part of the Body of Christ.  Keep meeting in your house church.  I am sure your congregation will be blessed in the many years to come.  And may The Lord have mercy upon all of us.  Those who have attacked their elected Bishop and those who are following in the Way.

Such are these horrible times in which we live.  You will continue in your apostate organization that pulled the rug out from under our Godly Bishop Lawrence.  Don’t you find it strange and amazingly disingenuous that your PB would have a meeting with Waldo and Bishop Lawrence to try and rectify what is going on down here all the while knowing she had already inhibited him?  You can remain with that group.  I will go with Bishop Lawrence.

Did you make an effort on your part to go to St. Helena’s and get confirmed there?

Is St Mark’s, the house church, acknowledged as a participating parish within the Diocese of South Carolina?  How soon after his consecration did you all ask him to attend your house church?  In other words, did he know that you were actually a home church?  You say you wish no one ill will, yet I know clergy who have had their hearts ripped out by what the 14 have done.  So, rest assured, ill will has been perceived.  He’s restricted as a TEC bishop, we are no longer part of TEC.  Good luck and God speed.

I have seen twice, close up, what a disgruntled few can do to a godly man.  Very little spirituality in sneak attacks.  But this latest attack wasn’t all that sneaky seeing as we had already prepared a firewall against total annihilation desired by the liberal left on anything orthodox.  29,000 Christians thrown in the air by the wonderful actions of 14.  All I can say is “WOW!”

I am sure that the actions of the 14, hurtful as they are to oh so many more than you can imagine, will in the end be a blessing.  I have seen wonderful blessings happen when one is attacked.  I just hope and pray that all will see blessings from this deed.  The more spiritual eye, the better to see the actual blessing.  Of course, we also know that blessings sometimes can feel like one heck of a curse if one doesn’t have the spiritual eye to see them.
